Small Sioux turtle fetish comprises a firmly stuffed leather body embelished with glass beads worked in lane stitch. Turtle's head, tail, legs, and center motif on back are olive green, body is worked in pearlescent white beads; two pairs of orange beads represent the eyes; central green figure on back repeats the turtle form, with orange beads representing legs, facial features, and tail.
