Sioux loom beaded armbands dating 1920. Using cut rawhide as a base a band of loomed beads is sewn and attached at sides of each piece of rawhide. Loom beaded pattern is a rounded triangle at one end with what appears to be a square opening at bottom and a steeple or chimney figure on top. A row of separate strings of beads are secured beneath triangle form. Intermitten stars follow. At center is a long bar with two triangles at both ends and a wing-like pattern protruding from both sides at; middle. Other end has a modified triangle with two pointed ends, three small squares inside and a chimney or steeple form on top. Leather ties thread through holes on both ends and tie..
