Description Description: Description: A small Apache doll cradle composed of a wooden frame covered in yellow cloth edged in black, red, yellow, and white beads, a hood, decorated with beaded V-design and a cloth doll lying inside. Frame: The frame is composed of wooden planks attached to a bent wood frame. The frame is covered in a yellow cloth that leaves the foot and bow of the cradle frame exposed. Body: The body is made of yellow cloth and is edged with black, red, yellow, and white beads. Yellow; thread laces across the body opening. White cloth lines the interior of the body. Hood: The hood is composed of wooden planks which are edged with beaded yellow cloth. Yellow cloth encloses the back of the hood. A beaded V-design decorates the front of the hood. Doll: A cloth doll lies in the cradle. The body is made of blue, purple, and green cloth. The head is made of skin-colored cloth with inked facial features and black wool for hair.
