Description Frequent visual field testing is an important component of following visual deficits in idiopathic intracranial hyper-tension (IIH). Difficulties in compliance and in quality of follow-up pose a special problem in the pediatric population and are thought to contribute to the relatively high rate of permanent visual field deficits (54%) in this age group.
