A $9.4 million grant has been awarded to the University of Utah by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to continue an ongoing study of the causes of sudden cardiac death, to find ways to identify patients at risk, and to develop new preventative therapies. This grant renews a previously funded grant of more than $7 million. |
