Description |
Production stills from The Exodus, the only film created by the Pioneer Film Corporation of Utah. The title was changed to "All Faces West" and had its premiere in Salt Lake City in March of 1929. The company went into receivership in September 1929 and the film was sold with the company in July 1930 for $10,000 at public auction. Directed by Raymond K. Johnson (brother of Gladys Johnson, one of the film's stars and stepson of the producer, George Edward Lewis) and starring Ben Lyon and Marie Prevost, the film was released with the title "Call of the Rockies" in 1931 with a runtime of 71 minutes. A edited version running 60 minutes that removed almost all references to the Mormons is also available on DVD. |
