Description |
A. Statement of the Problem One of the most disagreeable pests of human habitations is the common cockroach. They are not only regarded as a nuisance and a sign of uncleanliness, but they do a great deal of damage to food and stored products. This formidable insect leaves an obnoxious odor wherever he goes and is well equipped to serve as a mechanical carrier of disease. The United States Public Health Service in 1952 made the statement, "Equally important as disease carriers are flies and roaches ". |
