The Dara-Dara Matsuri, also known as the Shoga Matsuri or the Ginger Root Festival, is an annual that is held for eleven days in September at the Shiba Daijingu Shrine in Tokyo. The Shiba Daijingu Shrine is the one of the most ancient shrines in Tokyo and is considered to be one of the guardian shrines of the city.
