Murphy at Lintsing to friends, describing a long oxcart ride following a trip to villages where the missionaries provided training and religious education; village of Fu Jen Chai has a strong Christian community; the church they built; Christmas activities; news of other missionaries; included a photo of Chinese children; 3. Letter dated 11 February 1934 from Emma Boose Tucker to her children, noting death of husband's sister; trip to Tsinan and Tientsin for synod/retreat; news of other missionary families, including health problems, departures, schooling of their children; detailed account of the 11 days at Tientsin; trip home included running out of gas; news of other family friends; Ellises in Farmdale, Ohio; 4.
