Brigham Young corrects an erroneous report. Young reports that some Mormons are interested in settling valleys beyond the Great Salt Lake and that settlers that are uninvolved with reports that endeavors are being unfairly attacked by Indians as a result. Young expresses his surprise at reports that the Shoshones had been conducting depredations |
