Students of the Ashley Elementary held a read-a-thon. Students of the fourth, fifth and sixth grades read from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with only short breaks. Of the 330 students being the reading, 90 completed. Winners were determined by the number of pages read and difficulty of the book. Doug Haight took first place and Scott Beacham, second place. |
