Scan of letters to and from Marriner S. Eccles pertaining to speaking engagements in 1953 that Mr. Eccles declined. Invitations came from the Purchasing Agents' Association of Denver and the Parts and Service Managers Club of Twin Falls, Idaho. In one exchange, the Clark H. Getts firm that helped to book appearances was in contact with someone at the University of Utah to arrange a paid speech, and Mr. Eccles replied that he was a supporter of the University and would not charge a fee to speak there.
