Description |
Chase Mill, built in 1852 by Isaac Chase. In 1854 Brigham Young became a partner in the mill, and in 1860 the owner. The Chase Farm was purchased in 1881 by Salt Lake City for $27,000, renamed Liberty Park, and opened to the public in 1883. Drawing by Carlos Anderson, 1934, for the Utah Writers' Project.
