Description Standing portrait of two Native American Ute men, identified as Naunokwits and Kurien, western slope Wasatch Mountains, Utah. Both men wear leggings, breechcloths, and decorative shirts. A young eagle is tethered in a tree between the two men. Upon maturation, the feathers were harvested for use in ceremonies and as decoration.
