Description | This print consists of the silhouette of an anatomically correct heart, filled with a collage of Mexican iconography. Featured is the Mayan calander, an indigienous civilization native to Central America, the Mexican flag, Lady Guadalupe (the Mexican Virgin Mary), and a portrait of Frida Khalo (a renowned Mexican artist). The title is Spanish for "Roots of my Anatomy". It was featured in the 2024 Juried Student Show exhibition. |
