Nurse Cathedral Pinning Ceremony June 3, 1965

A photograph of nurses awaiting entrance into the Cathedral for the pinning ceremony on June 3, 1965. The nurses are lined single file in the cloister waiting to enter the Cathedral. They are wearing white nurse uniforms, nursing caps and shoes. The first nurse appears to be carrying a bouquet of long stemmed roses in her left hand. The cloister where they are standing is marble textured with a flat ceiling and gold light fixtures with a symbol of encircled cross hanging from the center. At the far end a small gathering of probable church officials are standing in front of an open wooden door.
