History |
A 57-year old African-American male with transient visual obscurations brought on by exercise. Painless black vision associated with neck and lower back pain. Occipital headache, left facial numbness and bilateral leg weakness. Previous history significant for HIV, pneumonia, facial zoster, colitis, hepatitis C, seizure, pancreatitis, hypertension and diet-controlled diabetes mellitus. |
Pathology |
Inflammatory eosinophilic leukocyte infiltration with destruction of elastic lamina of vessels. |
