Description |
Utah's Monument Valley has many unique sights, but among the strangest are huge tunnels cut through solid sandstone by the abrasive action of wind and blown sand in ages past. This area has brilliantly colored monuments of strange and fantastic contour which provide a scenic thrill seen nowhere else in the world. Monument Valley covers the southeast corner of the State. "Nature's own Window" a huge opening through a monumental sandstone butte in Utah's Monument Valley. Note the figure standing in the opening. |
