Cedar Breaks is one of the most colorful and fantastic examples of erosion in sandstone known to the scenic world, the coloring being extremely vivid and verging on deep reds and salmon to yellows and white. Cedar City, Utah, on the line of the Union Pacific System 275 miles south of Salt Lake City, is the gateway to this and other scenic attractions in Southern Utah- Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park, likewise Kaibab National Forest and North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Arizona." |
