Description |
The cannon on the left could be the "Old Sow" which was displayed for many years in the Bureau of Information on Temple Square. The wagon behind the cannon is Brigham Young's now at the Pioneer Memorial Museum. These were all used in the Semi-Centennial (or Pioneer Jubilee) parade of 1897, and the location here is behind the Hall of Relics on South Temple and Main Street. This could be either before or after the parade, July 24th, 1897. Gift of Nicholas G. Morgan. |
