In search of the eternal watchmaker: Voltaire's concept of God

Since childhood I have been intrigued with the era that is the Eighteenth century. From its costumes of weskits and riding vests, to the powdered coiffures and dresses given feminine breadth by panniers, the Eighteenth century was visually stunning and brilliant. Thus, it is no surprise that I chose Voltaire, the paragon of eighteenth century thought and letters, as the subject of my Senior Honors Project.
