Title The history, development, and implications of doping in sports
Date 1985-06
Year graduated 1985
Description To gain a better understanding of the doping situation today, its implications for athletes and society, and its future, a historical survey is needed. Many articles exist which explain the use or potential of specific performance enhancing drugs, but no treatise has been written that gives a historical tracing of the developments of doping in sports to provide a perspective and an understanding of the problem. It is within this historical context that this paper intends to show the development and; implications of doping in sports.
