Ivy Baker Priest was United States Treasurer during the Eisenhower administration from 1953 to 1961, and served as California Treasurer under Ronald Reagan from 1966 to 1974. Her photographs reflect her years in public office and include portraits, publicity shots, family photographs, political functions, and groups of politicians and public officials. A black and white photograph of Priest posing and placing a cape on a young girl wearing a white dress with a sash that says "Miss Pittsburgh". Another girl with a sash and a hat that says "Miss Muffin" is placing a crown of the first girl. An unidentified man poses with all three other figures, including Priest. |
