Part of a log kept by Doris Nevills during a 1940 river trip led by her husband, Norman D. Nevills, down the Green and Colorado rivers from Wyoming through the Grand Canyon. This part covers the run from Jensen to Hite, Utah, July 1 to 21. An expanded version of the three-stage voyage from Green River, Wyoming, to Diamond Creek in the lower Grand Canyon was published in a series of newspaper articles, which may be seen in the scrapbook in Box 28, folder 9. |
