Salt Lake City faces critical urban issues: rising congestion, declining air, and growing spatial injustice. This report examines how green public transport can be used as an engine of economic renewal, environmental health, and social fairness. Based on a mixed-methods research methodology involving public polls (n=100), spatial analysis using Geographic Information System, and expert opinion, the paper identifies key interventions such as routing optimization, increase in service frequency, electrifying the fleet, and implementation of real-time monitoring technologies. Drawing on UTA's 2030 Sustainability Roadmap, this study analyzes such interventions and formulates policy guidelines to make the city more resilient and inclusive to mobility. Limitations of the study are sample size and institutional scope with suggestions for further longitudinal studies. Lastly, results provide a data-driven framework for Salt Lake City to transition into a more sustainable, integrated, and inclusive transport system. |
