Description Mudhead or koyemsi kachina carving. Black ink on bottom reads S. Talas / Polacca, AZ ; ; Features: a pointed gourd on top of head, several round gourds (over ears, at forehead, and on back of head) with feathers hanging, beak mouth surrounded by fur ruff, neck has a black tie, waist is encircled by a kilt, one wrist has a cuff and the other has a shell bracelet, figure is sitting on a log and carving a wood kachina using a knife.. Depth 12.1, Height 23.4, Width 8.2 Centimeters
