Description: Gauze curtain with subtle stripes where 2 or 3 weft threads are laid in one row, then 3-5 background shots are woven in, which then repeats four times. There are six areas of these stripes with tassels at selvage of each stripe (note some are missing). Inlaid designs consist of a band of abstract forms; a band of birds with headdresses and a central wreath form; a band of birds with arched necks, letters and central double design; and a center band of two birds. Bands then; reverse. Top is hemmed for hanging rod. Bottom is fringed with beads and the macrame knotting is elaborate.. Width 68.5, Length 216 Centimeters |
