Description Description: Serape / Wearing Blanket style Navajo rug with tight single twisted red, black, white, and camel commercial wool yarns. There are 5 edge to edge geometric panels (8 7/8", 4 1/2", 25", 4 1/2", 8 7/8") separated by 4 striped bands (2 at 7 5/8", 2 at 2") on a dark red background. The center panel is composed of 3 large black stepped open diamonds, plus 2 half diamonds, outlined with white of equal width and structure sheltering small stepped motifs of camel, black, and white. The 4; 1/2" panels have 10 stepped chevrons in black and white while the end panels (8 7/8") have five different black/white designs including stepped chevrons, stepped diagonal bands, and an unusual stepped/stacked motif, single and double..
