Description Allen D. Roberts is an architect and architectural historian who served on the board of the Utah Endowment for the Humanities (later changed to Utah Humanities Council during his board tenure) from 1985 to 1991. He was involved in the beginning of the Mesa Project, while serving on the Utah Humanities board. He continued his Mesa project involvement (now called Zion Canyon Mesa) into the 2000s, as the designated architect for the buildings, although his plans weren't the ones ultimately used. He has worked with many humanities-related organizations and boards throughout his life.
