Description Originally from Florida, work with the Forest Service brought Craig Miller came to Utah. He decided to stay in Salt Lake City and became very interested in the local folk-dance scene. Through his folk-dance interest, he traveled throughout the state and began talking to diverse communities around the state about what they did and why. This spawned his love of folklore love and a new career. He worked as a state folklorist and arts administrator for the Utah Arts Council and their Folk Arts program. He worked with the Utah Humanities Council as a partner, gaining funding from this organization for various folklore projects he worked on throughout his career.
