My dear Mr. Black: Enclosed herewith are Fiesta Checks Nos. 81 and 82, made to Old Posey's Widow and Old Sanip in the amounts of $5.00 and $3.00, respectively. These checks are for prizes taken on Piute baskets exhibited at the Fair at Santa Fe. The one for Old Posey's Widow is for a basket that she made, which Mrs. KcKean has and loaned me to take to the Fair. The other one is for a basket that you sent over.
