Description An unidentified, Native American man poses for a full-length, studio portrait wearing a feather headdress. He holds his hands on his hips, showing the length of the tassels that hang from the shoulders of his buckskin shirt. His pant legs have beaded strips on the front. His headdress is adorned with a thin, beaded strap and two small horns, each adorned with small, beaded circles bearing the shape of a star. His long braids are wrapped in fur. He wears beaded ; moccasins, hoop earrings in each ear, and three rings on his hands. The feathers on his headdress have long, curly strands of hair attached to their ends and hanging down behind the man.
