Color photograph of ALBERT. NOYES APR. 7 1847 inscription located in Pleasant Creek, just North of Tantalus Flats. It is carved into the cliffside. Albert Noyes was a resident of the nearby settlement of Junction (modern-day Fruita), Utah, but was not born until February 1898. The significance of the 1847 date is not known. |
