Description |
Maryann Jensen shared the story of Elizabeth Carroll, a British army officer's wife who left her privileged life in India to migrate to Utah with her family. Jensen admired Carroll's courage for leaving behind a life of privilege. Later, Jesse Bevan was discussed, a woman who ran for the Arizona State House of Representatives and fought for women's rights, including the right to sit on a jury. Bevan's story highlighted the determination and resilience of women in history. |
