A fringed tube of possibly commercially tanned hide is attached to the rattle at the narrow necked base of the bulb, a long streamer of horsehair still attached to a strip of hide is inserted in the neck. The bulb is closed yellow with faint green designs. An extremely fine length of sinew is knotted at one end and stitched to the leather tube; indicating that this piece is probably incomplete..
