Description The Gateway Natural Amenity Regions (GNAR) Initiative and Western Water Assessment (WWA) are conducting a needs assessment for small and resort towns that need help to reach the level of climate and natural hazard consideration they would like. Seventeen informational interviews were performed, each with key informants in unique communities with unique problems. From sustainability managers to town managers, informants described the tools and resources they currently utilize. This report summarizes this research and provides recommendations informed by analysis. Hearing from communities themselves, GNAR Initiative and WWA now have 15 areas of focus moving forward with the needs assessment.
