Description |
Home movie showing Lions Convention in Old Cove Fort which was used as a stop over point between Filmore, the first state capital, and Beaver, sixty miles to the south. This stopping point was used frequently by early settlers and was built in 1867. Cove Fort was founded in 1867 by Ira Hinckley at the request of Brigham Young. The movie also showing people traveling and a large group of people including two unidentified men examining rocks. Length: 4 minutes, 40 seconds |
