Description |
Sam Wilson's art is almost systematic, with a clear repository of images, characters, and methods that are brought together in unique but extremely stylistically predictable ways. Works always include hyper realistic portraiture, distinct expressions, and technicolor, geometric pattering. Often included are images of Wonder woman, lattice patterned blazers, and the occasional disembodied mouth. This piece is no exception. Two canvases are adhered together, one horizontal and one vertical. The central figure is a man in a beret, looking to the side. He's wearing a pair of headphones, thick globs and splattering's of paint decorating the ear piece. |
