Amtrak (National Railroad Passenger Corporation) number six (No. 6, the California Zephyr), eastbound at Riverton, Utah. This train carries a coach and sleeper form train number twenty-six (No. 26, The Pioneer) from Seattle, and number thirty-six (No. 36, The Desert Wind) from Los Angeles. These cars are switched in (or out westbound) at Salt Lake City and run through Chicago with cars from the number six (No. 6) from Oakland. Photograph taken July 1987. Donor & Photographer: Mike B.
