Business--Bank--Bank of Vernal |
Description |
It was in 1915, William Horace Coltharp planned a new building for the Bank of Vernal. The new building took the place of the Coltharp Mercantile company on the southwest corner of Main and Vernal Ave in Vernal, Utah. He ordered 80,000 bricks at seven cents a piece. Because of the expensive freighting costs it was decided to send the bricks parcel post at less that half the freight cost. |
