Vanessa Mortensen was a strong competitor for the Utes, placing first in the weight throw with a season best throw of 17.62m. Senior Ashlee Warnick won her first collegiate competition in the mile, clocking in at 5:27.00. Freshmen Haley McAllister and Ashley Patterson were members of the winning 4x400m relay. In addition, McAllister won her first-ever collegiate long jump competition, jumping 17'11 ¾', while Patterson won the triple jump with 11.59m. Jen Fresques won the 800m run with a time of 2:19.79. AJ Roby also shone for the Utes, placing second in the shot put and weight throw, putting in throws of 13.51m and 16.33m respectively. |
