Allen H. Lundgren, letters to Ruth, 1940-1944

Letters from Allen H. Lundgren to Ruth, his fiancée and wife. Includes letters from the summer of 1941, when he spent a couple of months at the University of Iowa in Iowa City; letters from San Antonio, Texas, in the spring of 1942 prior to their marriage, where he was working for the Bureau of Censorship; and letters from Europe in 1944, when he while serving in the U.S. Army's Counter Intelligence Corps during World War II. Some pages of letters are out of order. Pages at images 3 and 4 are the end of letter dated 1942 at images 86-89. Letter dated April 1942 at images 42-44 continue at image 90. Letter at images 5-6, dated 11 Oct. 1940, is actually from 1944.
