Chantel Goldsberry earned Utah's only win of the meet with a mark of 188'09" feet in the hammer throw. Goldsberry threw 26-feet farther than the second place finisher. Mindy Wilder earned second place and set a new pr in the javelin throw with 146'05". Erianne Allen set a new pr in the javelin throw with 133'06" for third place. Alexandria Nash jumped 38'01.50" in the triple jump for a new pr and third place. Natasha Eldridge set a new pr by more than two feet with 43'50" in the shot put. April Jackson earned a pair of fourths for the Utes. In the high jump she posted 5'05" and she ran 14.46 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles. Teren Jameson grabbed third place on the men's side with 1:52.28 minutes in the 800-meter run. Jameson is ranked 18th in the nation in the 3,000-meter run with 13:15.07. |
