Dr. Levin discusses his work as an emergency room doctor in New York City. He recounts his first memories of hearing about COVID-19 happening in other countries, as well as difficulties securing and reusing personal protective equipment as COVID-19 cases got worse in New York. He talks about consulting with doctors in Italy and his hospital receiving donations of personal protective equipment from China. He shares his experiences with social distancing during the pandemic and his experience sharing his observations about the pandemic on Facebook posts. |
