Description |
Amtrak (National Railroad Passenger Corporation) SW-1 switcher at the former Salt Lake City Denver and Rio Grande Western Depot. This engine is used to switch cars from trains twenty-six (No. 26) and number thirty-six (No. 36) for number six (No. 6) and vice versa. This is an ex-New York Central switcher and was stationed in Salt Lake City in June, 1988. Donor & Photographer: Mike B. Davis. |
