Ike Yourdon camping in the snow

Black and white photograph of Ike Yourdon and an unidentified friend with a tent. Ed Yourdon's notes: "I don't know the details of this photo, either -- but there is definitely snow on the ground, so it was not taken during the summer season. My guess is that it was taken in the late fall or early spring, since the weather appears to be warm enough that the man on the left is not wearing gloves, and Ike Yourdon (on the right) has unzipped his coat. You'll see a variation on this photo in tomorrow's upload, with my grandmother standing next to Ike -- but with the same tent, the same snow, the same ax-handle. All of which gives me the impression that this photo was probably taken by my grandmother." The other man may be Mabel's brother, Jimmy Freeman.
