Mulder (b. 1915) recalls his family and personal history, early life in Salt Lake, education, military service, Scandinavian studies, four sojourns in India, responsibilities at the University of Utah including his editorship of the Western Humanities Review, his work with the establishment of the Middle East Center, tenure as a faculty member of the English Department, and association with the "Swearing Elders."
