Biographical Note/Historical Note +/-The Bonneville Irrigation District was incorporated in 1920 and was voluntarily dissolved on April 4, 1959. The District was allotted six thousand and thirty-nine acre feet of water but because of the low priority of the company's water rights it had difficulty guaranteeing its subscribers their share of water during times of drought. The corporation no longer owns any equipment or water rights but has retained ownership of its original right of way.
