Color images of scrapbook for Nils (Nels) Anton Olsen; 70 pages. This scrapbook contains personal and work related materials of Nils (Nels) Anton Olsen. Nels immigrated to U.S. from Sweden on 23 June 1901. He was born 16 Feb 1885 Borringe Sweden. Nils worked for several railroad companies throughout the Western United States. Scrapbook includes the death notice of Nels Olsen's father, Ola Jonsson in Borrige who committed suicide in 1916. After his father's death, Nels ried to get his mother to immigrate to the U.S. Scrapbook also contains a photograph of Nil's cousin Marie and her husband, Edward Olsen, whom lived in New Jersey, portraits of Ola Jonsson and Matilda Jonsson, parents of Nels, photographs of Nies in 1918 when he was living in Winnamucca with wife and niece, Blanche Snyder-Moss. The plastic sleeves on all pages skew the coloring on images; Utah. |
