"Is she real or merely a figment of imagination? My capstone project follows a character journeying through various worlds. As she moves through these realms, they become increasingly chaotic and degraded. We experience her struggles firsthand, but by the end, we discover she is in a lab, leaving us to question whether her adventures were just a product of imagination or if her travels are still ongoing." From the artist. The series includes four pieces; three depict the main character in strange and distored enviornments. The fourth features an unsettling lab, the main character floating in one of many tanks. This work was displayed as part of the 2024 Illustration Capstone exhibition. |
